We are excited that you have taken
time to look at possibly joining us for Ride the Highlands. We work hard to make this one of the best experiences you will have in some of the most beautiful country on Earth.
August 23rd
8 AM at the Canaan Valley Volunteer Fire Hall (on Highway 32 - Directions via Google Maps) for breakfast. You will be treated to a wonderful breakfast catered by Big John’s Family Restaurant and served at Canaan Valley Volunteer Fire Hall, look for the sign. Last years breakfast was bicets and gravy, coffee or juice. The first 50 riders get their choice of a t-shirt or cap with the Ride the Highlands logo as well as a goody bag. The ride will take you on 100 miles of beautiful scenery with four stops to let you stretch your legs.
When you return to Canaan Valley and a wonderful lunch is served again from Big John’s. Last year we had chicken breast, beans, potatoes and drinks. Cindy Sites and her band will be performing and door prizes will be given away. The door prizes have been wonderful and this year looks to be just as good. Free stays at Canaan Valley Resort. Weekend stays at resort homes, and many other items.
